This delicious dessert inspired by Anna Matveïevna Pavlova, Russian ballerina born in Saint Petersburg, has always fascinated us and we would like to offer you our version accompanied by a subtle touch of olive oil blending wonderfully with the freshness of the strawberries.
List of ingredients :
- 5 egg whites
- 150 g of sugar
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch coffee
- 1 pinch of salt
- 200 gr of strawberries
- 40 cl whole liquid cream
- 3 cl of extra virgin olive oil
- 60 g of icing sugar
Recipe steps:
- Beat the egg whites while incorporating the salt. Add the sugar and continue to beat until you obtain a thick cream.
- Add the cornstarch and finish assembling the whites
- Form small nests with the meringue, well spaced
- Bake at 150°C for 5 minutes and lower to 120°C for the remaining 55 minutes
- Whip the cold cream with the sugar and add the olive oil little by little.
- Take out the cooked meringues and garnish them with whipped cream and previously cut strawberries.
